About Our Pastor

Pastor Mike and Nancy Johnson have been honored to serve
the Mount Pleasant Church of the Open Bible since December
1993. They have been married for 43 years and have five grown
children, three son in-laws and one daughter in-law. They also have thirteen wonderful
grandchildren. Mike and Nancy bring over 42 years of pastoral
and evangelistic experience including 22 years as the East Iowa
– Minnesota District Director of the Central Region, Open Bible
Churches.
Nancy is gifted in intercessory prayer, children’s ministry, and
compassionate pastoral care. Mike is a pastor who has a heart
for preaching, evangelism, coaching, praying, and counseling.
Mike and Nancy both love God, and love people. They love to
work together, pray together, and play together!
