WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS MT. PLEASANT OPEN BIBLE CHURCH?

Mt. Pleasant Open Bible Church is all about helping people take their next step toward Christ. We believe it is possible for church to be the highlight of the week for the entire family. We know this happens when we focus everything on Jesus, connect in community, and learn straight from the Bible.

WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE SERVICES?

Worship service is on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. Mt. Pleasant Open Bible Church is located at 306 N. Cherry St. Mt. Pleasant, IA across the street from Van Allen Elementary School. We also offer classes for all ages on Wednesday evenings starting at 7 pm.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Mt. Pleasant Open Bible Church is a church for everyone. We encourage people to come as they are and dress in what feels most comfortable.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE? 

Upon your arrival, you can expect to be welcomed into the church by one of our friendly greeters. They will provide you with a bulletin and a note sheet that goes along with the service. They can also direct you to the sanctuary or to child care if needed.

WHAT IS A SERVICE LIKE?

Mt. Pleasant Open Bible Church offers a relaxed and engaging environment geared towards ministering to your entire family. Service begins with a live band that will lead in a time of worship. A time of greeting and announcements usually follows worship. A Jesus-centered Bible based message provided by our pastor concludes our service. The entire service lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

At Mt. Pleasant Open Bible Church we love kids! We have programs that serve infant through elementary age children. Whether your child is napping in the nursery, engaging in play in the toddler room, or participating in interactive lessons in children’s church, our goal is to always provide a safe, caring environment that reflects the love of Jesus to our children.
